Today, I was forced to go to group counseling by my parents. We had to introduce ourselves, and say why we were there. It turned out everyone else was in there for hardcore drugs, running away from home, and one guy for stabbing someone. I went last, and had to stand up to say I was there because I got my first C in school. MLID

Summer just started. I have a tutoring programs 4 days a week from 9 am - 3 pm. I have another tutoring program from 5pm- 8pm 3 days a week. I also am being tutored by my smart cousin. When school starts, this is going to keep on going on. I'm 12. MLID

Today, my parents asked me what my top choice for college was. Since I want to major in economics, I said, "the University of Chicago". My parents were STUNNED and said, "Beta, we thought you were so smart...why do you want to go to a school for black people?" I still think they do not know that UChicago is one of the best schools for economics, despite being in Chicago. MLID.

Today, my mom and I were at my new school chooses classes. I had put down AP Physics and AP Calculus first, then AP French. Incase AP French isn't available I say I want Intro to American Politics, my mom says, "no no that's a boring course, don't do too much." Thats immediately followed by her saying, "Vhy don't you choose AP Chemistry instead?" MLID.
