Community Service Awareness Committee

Why should you get involved? Why is there a need for such committee? Look at what's going on in the world. At every moment, there are events that are causing havoc among people and they are just not enough resources... or are there? Look at the response to the floods in Pakistan... 1/5th of the country is underwater and the country is still being condemned for being a nation filled with corruption. Is that the fault of the millions that are homeless? Is that the fault of a child who's going to be swarmed with water-borne diseases due to the lack of resources?

If you want to help a cause, don't complain about it - do something about it. Just this month, MLID reached 96 countries and 1.5 million views. If we can inform the world about the awareness of some of the issues, we will do more than just make people smile through these stories. We will really make a difference. Everyone is welcome to join.. deadline to submit is September 15th.

Today,my parents got in a fight and my dad said, 'now if YOU were a nurse we wouldn't be having this problem' and my mom says 'i could've married a rich man from Dubai'. Me, seeking a perfect opportunity, says " This is why i shouldn't have an arranged marriage!" but OF COURSE, both of them stop in their tracks and yell 'NO' and go back to arguing. gosh MLID!

Today, I realized that we are saving this world from global warming - we rarely turn on air conditioning or heat; we use lota instead of flushing down a bucket full of water; instead of throwing away empty plastic containers, we use them to put other food in; we use less fuel because we're hardly allowed to go anywhere (i mean, we are always studying).
