The other day my family and I were watching Sa Re Ga Ma Pa lil' champs on zee TV for the first time. At first I was confused that the lowest grade available was a C. Then I remembered that it was a desi show. MLID.

Today, I realized being Desi is not about forcing the vending machine to cough up 25 cents, or crying over 88% in math, or even waiting for the rain to wash your car. It's what's in the heart. It's knowing and accepting all the diversity we have. So, MLID, with pride.
